Dylan | You Raise Me Up | Hudson Valley Family Photographer

A few weeks ago, I had a date with Dylan and his family. It was our second session together and I just knew it would again be magical. Over the summer I saw a photo of Dylan from this year in Mom’s office in the city and I literally cried  at how he had changed in just two years. We knew it was time for us to get together again. I can’t explain to you the feeling of spending time with Dylan. Such a beautiful soul.

Dylan’s Grandmother emailed me this the next day:
“Dawn, u r a gift. Your face and eyes always say it all for me. And when I saw Dylan wanting you to be in a picture with him, I knew he sees your heart as well. That’s how it is with Dylan. He is more powerful than most people can imagine. You are the best..

Soooo..thank YOU!”
But really, it is the other way around….when you are with Dylan, you see his heart and immediately feel love, faith and joy.
The lyrics to Josh Groban’s to his beautiful song, You Raise Me Up:
When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up… To more than I can be.
Thank you Corinne, Michelle, Jeff and Dylan from the bottom of my heart! blog2Pin Itand this is the photo of Dylan and I. He insisted  I hand over my camera to his Grandmother as he climbed on my back:)blog3Pin It
