Over the summer I had the pleasure of creating this portrait for our city’s Junior Firefighters. I had the vision of it in my mind as soon as our Chief, Steve VanBuren, explained to me what he wanted to do. It now hangs on a 10 foot banner at Beacon High School to encourage more students to join the department and serve their community as my family has for thirty years and will continue to do so. My son is not in this photo….but he will be in the next one! Many thanks to these young boys who are volunteering in their community to protect and serve others.

Dena Robles - What a fantastic firefighter photograph. Not only do I love the texture in the photo I am so intrigued by the depth created by the different layers in the image. The whole scene is bold and brave and intense.
