The fall of 2017 has proven to be unseasonably warm with temperatures in the 60s and 70s and me still wearing flip flops and tank tops! This has allowed me to open up a few more dates for outdoor portrait sessions in the Hudson Valley of New York. I have many favorite locations to photograph families and create fun family portraits!
These adorable portraits of brothers were taken at Stony Kill Farm, in Dutchess County back in 2007, 10 years ago! Stony Kill has rich textures, a good old red barn and gorgeous fields and walking trails. This historic farm and barn never lets me down and I have been photographing there for 20 years, since my youngest was born and my kids attended summer camp!
Urban sessions are always a great idea in the fall too! Back in 2014 we decided to mix fall colors, urban grunge with some formal wear to create these family portraits right in our hometown of Beacon, NY. They looked super cool as black and white as well so we had the choice to mix it up with color in their custom wall gallery we designed. And that just gave me the idea to create another blog post with their wall gallery and highlight their gorgeous boys! Bookmarked for January!
If you would like to book one of two the dates that are now available, call or email the studio!
